It is very important to take the antibiotics at the specific prescribed\u00a0time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply cold compresses for the first 24 hours (such as a bag of frozen peas or ice cubes in a towel or plastic\u00a0bag). It is important not to put the ice directly on the skin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not blow your nose. If it is absolutely necessary, do it\u00a0gently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If you need\u00a0to sneeze, do so by the\u00a0mouth without holding it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If you feel congested (nose or sinus) take a\u00a0decongestant such\u00a0Sudafed or Tylenol Sinus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan to rest or do light activities for the first 48 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not do\u00a0any physical activity for the first 72 hours after the surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In order to optimize the result following the bone graft surgery, we strongly recommend that you follow these instructions: Take the post-operative medications as prescribed.
