2 levels

 2 DAYS OF TRAINING

LIMIT OF 12 STUDENTS

3 PERIODONTISTS

LEVEL 01

Fundemental skills
of connective tissue grafting

LEVEL 01 OBJECTIVES

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE, THE DENTIST WILL BE ABLE TO:

IDENTIFY THE CAUSES OF THE APPEARANCE AND EVOLUTION OF GINGIVAL RECESSION

IDENTIFY THE CLINICAL CASES THAT REQUIRE CONNECTIVE TISSUE GRAFTING AND PREDICT THE CLINICAL RESULTS

UNDERSTAND THE ANATOMY OF THE DIFFERENT BUCCAL SITES AND HOW TO WORK ON THEM SAFELY

MASTER THE FUNDAMENTAL TECHNIQUE OF CONNECTIVE TISSUE GRAFTING (CORONALLY ADVANCED FLAP), INCLUDING PREPARATION OF THE RECIPIENT SITE AS WELL AS THE HARVESTING AND STABILIZATION OF THE GRAFT

PROPERLY AND EFFECTIVELY HANDLE THE REQUIRED SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS WITH STANDARD TECHNIQUES

UNDERSTAND THE STAGES OF HEALING AND CORRECTLY GUIDE THE PATIENT THROUGH THE PROPER POSTOPERATIVE PROTOCOL

LEVEL 02

Advanced techinques
in connective tissue and alloderm grafting

LEVEL 02 OBJECTIVES

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE, THE DENTIST WILL BE ABLE TO:

IDENTIFY THE CAUSES OF THE APPEARANCE AND EVOLUTION OF GINGIVAL RECESSION

IIDENTIFY THE CLINICAL CASES THAT REQUIRE CONNECTIVE TISSUE GRAFTING VERSUS THOSE THAT REQUIRE ALLODERM GRAFTING WITH THE TUNNEL TECHNIQUE AND PREDICT THE CLINICAL RESULTS OF BOTH

IDENTIFY THE CLINICAL SITUATIONS IN WHICH A PATIENT COULD BENEFIT FROM A RIDGE AUGMENTATION WITH A CONNECTIVE TISSUE GRAFT (ON AN EDENTULOUS RIDGE OR AN IMPLANT)

UNDERSTAND THE ANATOMY OF THE DIFFERENT BUCCAL SITES AND HOW TO WORK ON THEM SAFELY

MASTER THE ADVANCED CONNECTIVE TISSUE GRAFTING TECHNIQUES (TUNNEL TECHNIQUE, FLAP PREPARATION FOR RIDGE AUGMENTATION) REQUIRED FOR CONNECTIVE TISSUE OR ALLODERM GRAFTING, INCLUDING PREPARATION OF THE RECIPIENT SITE AS WELL AS THE HARVESTING AND STABILIZATION OF THE GRAFT

PROPERLY AND EFFECTIVELY HANDLE THE REQUIRED SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS WITH STANDARD TECHNIQUES

EACH PARTICIPANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING 2 PATIENTS TO EACH RECEIVE CONNECTIVE TISSUE OR ALLODERM GRAFTS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE GROUP OF PERIODONTISTS. THE FIRST PROCEDURE WILL BE COMPLETED IN THE MORNING AND THE SECOND WILL BE COMPLETED IN THE AFTERNOON.
